Case Study: Northfield Clinic

Overview

Northfield Clinic is a private wellness practice offering alternative medicine treatment in a supportive and professional environment. The clinic needed a website that reflected their calming presence, simplified their services, and gave new clients a clear path to get started—all while staying modern, mobile-friendly, and easy to update.

The Goal

Design a soft, trustworthy Squarespace site that:
 • Reflects the professionalism and warmth of the clinic
 • Streamlines content and prioritizes user experience
 • Makes it easy for new patients to schedule or reach out
 • Works seamlessly across desktop and mobile

Platform

Squarespace 7.1 was the ideal platform for this project—offering a clean, flexible foundation that aligned with the clinic’s goals. It allowed for a custom-feeling design within a streamlined timeline, while also giving the client full control to make future updates without needing ongoing tech support.

My Role

Creative Direction · Web Design · UX Strategy · Content Structuring 
As both designer and strategist, I guided the full layout of the site—balancing clinical clarity with a more calming, inviting visual tone.

The process

I began by creating a moodboard rooted in calm neutrals and minimalist design to mirror the clinic’s peaceful in-person energy. Then, I structured the homepage to walk visitors through a clear, comforting path: who the clinic is, how they can help, and how to take the next step. Content was lightly edited for flow, with a strong emphasis on clarity, trust, and call-to-action placement.

The result

A polished, professional website that brings Northfield Clinic’s values to life. The final design is:
 • Calm and welcoming, with a soft-toned color palette
 • Built for accessibility and mobile responsiveness
 • Strategically structured to guide patients effortlessly
 • Easy for the client to manage going forward

Behind the design

I wanted the design to feel calm and approachable, while still structured and professional. The layout guides users step-by-step with clear navigation, soft typography, and a neutral color palette to reflect the clinic’s peaceful in-person presence.
